Two dead, two injured in Fall River home shooting

by Atlanta Business Journal

Two men are dead and two women injured in Fall River after a 25-year-old man there shot three others before taking his own life overnight, according to Bristol DA Thomas M. Quinn III.

“Further information, including identities of the deceased, will be released later today once investigators have had time to speak to witnesses and sort through the facts of what occurred,” Quinn wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning, adding that “There is no ongoing threat to the public.”

The shooter will be identified once next-of-kin has been notified of his death, Quinn wrote.

According to Quinn’s tweets, the shootings happened at 511 Bank Street residence. Images of the home online from September 2012 show a small two-story building set at the intersection with Linden Street in a neighborhood composed primarily of three-deckers.

The deceased victim is a 69-year-old Fall River Man. The two injured women, who Quinn writes he is “optimistic 2 female victims will survive,” are 59 and 25 years old.
